Horse Ranch Trip

Hello! Happy 2016! I thought I'd share some photos of our little vacation we took last week to a horse ranch.
We stayed in a lovely cabin where we played games and such. I loved going outside in the mornings there. When everything was quiet, except for the chirping of the nearby birds or the neighing of the horses. Even though it was freezing, and after a while I felt like a human ice cube, it was so beautiful to see winter waking up. It even began to snow a little (and by a little I mean tiny micro snowflakes were falling for a few minutes at most).
A few of my younger cousins and siblings went horse back riding. Seeing the sheer glee on their faces was so priceless. :)
I met a very photogenic horse there. He was smiling ear to ear (which would be disturbing to see and is thankfully not possible), tossing his hair dramatically, and of course he had to do a selfie-styled one with his tongue sticking out.
Okay, okay. It was more of a accidental photogenic-ness I guess. He, well, sneezed and yawned. And I somehow captured a smile from that. ;)
Okay, enough of me rambling. Enjoy the photos! <3
What are some traditions and vacations that you cherish? I'd love to hear about them. <3

    1. Haha! I know right! I'm afraid the poor lad/horse hasn't used a toothbrush a day in his life. It makes me remember my mom telling me to brush my teeth or they would be rotten when I was young. So thankful I listened to her then after seeing that horse's teeth! ;)

  13. It really warms my heart to see all those little kids riding those big beautiful animals. This is the best time to get kids comfortable on the horse, and it looks like they are really having such a great time. These kids are going to look back and always cherish the times that they had riding on these amazing creatures.
