Awards and Tags

Hello. GUESS WHAT?! I got tagged!!! Yay! I haven't done a tag/award in ages so I thought I would try these out. I got tagged by so many lovely people that I simply had to fit them all into a post. I know this post is reeeaaaallllly long and wordy, but I hope you still enjoy it.

First, I was tagged by Ava for the Creative Blogger Award. Thank you so much, Ava!!!

Guidelines:
Thank the person who nominated you and include a link to their blog.
Share five facts about yourself.
Nominate a list of around 10-15 bloggers, add their links, and notify them.
Include these rules in your post.

1.I'm obsessed with raspberries. --They taste like the galaxy.

2. I love ASL-- There's something about it that is so beautiful to me. I've taken several online courses and I love to learn songs in sign language like Lost Boy, Half the World Away, and Home are a few of the songs I've learned in sign language.

3. I love listening to music when I take walks. --It makes me feel like I'm in a movie or something. Please tell me I'm not the only one. Haha! ;D

4. I despise breakfast food -except for biscuits and gravy. That stuff is heavenly.

5. I have an irrational fear of moths.--One time when I was little there was one in my night gown in the middle of the night. They've been my mortal enemy and and my worst nightmare ever since.

I tag Abigail, Adelaide, Jordy, Autumn, Lauren, OliviaElly, Abbiee, and whoever else wants to try this out!

Next up, the Infinity Dream Tag! I was tagged by Olivia, Anna, and Elly. Thank you all so, so much! All of your questions were AMAZING.

Rules:
+Thank the Blogger who tagged you
+Tell us 11 facts about yourself
+Answer the 11 questions given to you
+Tag 11 bloggers (and come up with 11 new questions for them)

My 11 Facts:
1. I am NOT crafty. I like art (as in painting, drawing, etc) but making cool pinterest-y type things will most likely turn into a mini disaster. I also DO NOT have the patience for such tedious crafty work.

2. I have Christmas lights in my room. They make me feel so festive and happy.:)

3. Macaroni and cheese is my life. That stuff is liquid gold, my friend. liquid gold. Cracker Barrel's mac and cheese is the beeesssttt.

4.I've recently photographed a newborn and I'll be photographing another one this weekend. (Eeeeeeee!)

5. My favorite color is either light sky blue or a light aqua. Pretty much any type of light, airy blue I'm in love with.

6. I used to be really double jointed. I could twist myself like a pretzel and even did a little tumbling/ contortionist act at my church camp talent show when I was younger.

7. I'm absolutely horrible at knitting and crocheting. I've tried SEVERAL times, but my brain just can not figure it out.

8. I'm a lefty. (which sorta plays a part on having a hard time with knitting/crocheting because everyone who tried to teach me was right handed).

9. I DON'T like hot weather. I know, I know, I'm a total weirdo, but I simply prefer cooler weather.

10. I despise any type of nut or dried fruit. So in other words trail mix really isn't my thing. ;)

11. I'm a homebody. I'm not one who always wants to go somewhere or do something. I'm perfectly happy spending time with my family or chillaxing at home.

1. What's your favorite meal?
Baked chicken, baked and seasoned red potatoes, and mac and cheese (As you know I'm obsessed with that cheesy goodness).

2. Do you have bookshelves in your room?

Of course! I have one for all of my school books and notebooks, and one for all my favorite books.

3. What is something you like about yourself?
I've always liked my big brown eyes and my smile.

5. Sweaters or flannel?
I have to go with sweaters on this one.

6. Greeks or Romans?

Definitely the Greeks. I love learning about Greek mythology and eating their scrumptious food (especially the lamb). Plus the movie My Big Fat Greek Wedding makes me love them even more. ;)

7. Favorite book of the Bible and why?
Esters or Psalm. Ester because, you know, GIRL POWER. Seriously though she was such a strong and brave woman that I've always looked up to. I've always loved psalms because the verses are always so encouraging.

8. Name you would name your first boy and girl?

Rory and Marigold. (Yes, yes. Doctor Who and Downton Abbey lover here.)

9. Best candle scent?
Either apple cinnamon or fresh baked cookies.

10. One sentence to describe your best friend? (I know it's hard- I don't care)

She's a modern-day Anne Shirley who is never afraid to stand up for others.

11. Spirit animal?
Sloth/Deer/ Mercat. What a frightening creature I've created...

1. Would you rather go a year without reading or a year without listening to music?
Oh my. I love to read, but music is my way of coping with the world. Though I love music, I think the much more practical answer would be to choose to only read for a year.

2. Would you rather have really short hair or really long hair?
Long hair. I have extremely thick hair so it would probably look like I was wearing a helmet if my hair was cut short.

3. If you had to live in a fictional world, which fictional world would you choose and why?

I'd head on over to Neverland. I remember dreaming about flying with Peter when I was little. I could chill out with the mermaids, though I would probably almost drown in the process, be forever young, and fly around with pixie dust as my fuel. (I do believe in fairies, I do, I do.;))

4. Do you like December or July best?
December. I can't stand hot weather.

5. What's your current favorite song?
The real question is what isn't my current favorite song. I love so many, but my very favorite has got to be Lost Boy by Ruth B.

6. What is the longest you've ever gone without sleep?

Maybe a day and a half when I went to a lock-in. Though by the end of it, it was torturous to stay awake. I'm not what you would call a "Night Owl".

7. What color shirt are you wearing right now?

Grayish blue.

8. Chocolate or Vanilla?

CHOCOLATE.

9.What's your favorite quote? (It can be from the Bible, from a book, a movie, a song, anything.)
If you judge people, you have no time to love them.”
-Mother Teresa

10. What's the last book you read?
This Full House by Virginia Wolff.

11.What is one movie you hate? (And what made you detest it so?)
Clancy. I can barely remember the plot of it, but ohhhhhhhhhhhh, it was awful. It was so sad and depressing. Never again.

1.what are you wearing right now?
Jeans and a grayish blue, long sleeved shirt.

2.what is the hardest part of blogging?

For me it's really hard to be consistent with my posts and such. I don't really schedule anything. I simply post something when I feel like it really.

3.what is the easiest?

Definitely meeting new bloggers and becoming apart of this beautiful community we've created.

4.when did you start blogging?
Oct. 26 2013. It's so strange to look back on my old posts and see how different I was then. My posts were sooo cheesy, and my writing was maybe a bit bland, but I'd never delete them from my blog because they are apart of my story too. And because of that they're so precious to me.

5.when are you happiest?
Either at the end of the day when I watch Downton Abbey with my family or listening to music and writing. I also love taking walks with my mom and photographing my daily life.

6.favorite film?

Little Women and Narnia will always be near and dear to my heart. <3

7.what is one of your favorite posts to write?
I love sharing photos that I capture through my day and such.

8.what is the cutest animal you can think of?

A baby sloth. (awwwww!)

9.how would you explain your style?

For clothing, I'm definitely all about the comfort. I love anything that is casual, comfy, and stretchy. I also really like wearing gray. (Is it just me or do gray shirts seem to feel softer than regular ones?)

10.What are you most passionate about?
I'm very passionate about photography. I just love the thought of capturing precious moments in time. <3

  3. *SQUEALS* BISCUITS AND GRAVY YESSSS. Oh, especially when they're buttermilk biscuits. Those are just <3

I don't watch Dr. Who and I've only seen a little Downton Abbey, but those are both such beautiful namesI I would name a girl Rowena (Rowan for short) or Saoirse and a boy Archer or Gabriel.

Cookie dough-scented candles, heck yeah. I also love citrus or buttercream-scented ones.

December yesss. I just love Christmas, the first snow, the warm clothes, the special Starbucks drinks.....

Baby elephants are the cutest things. But if you would like to see one of the ugliest animals on this earth, look up a picture of a giant anteater.

Ahh thank you for nominating me!

  8. YAYY, TAGS! First off, thank you so much for tagging me! I'm definitely going to try this out sometime soon! Because it looks like a lot of fun. "I have an irrational fear of moths." < UGH I CAN RELATE. I'm okay with their "winged" stage, but when they're caterpillars with HAIR?? EWWWW JUST NO. I am so deathly afraid of caterpillars it's not funny (i mean it kind of is but...yeah.) Also centipedes. Also ANYTHING WITH MORE THAN FOUR LEGS SHOULDN'T BE ALLOWED TO EXIST ON THIS PLANET. *deep breaths*

"I'm a homebody." SAME SAME. Literally I left my house yesterday for the first time in like two weeks and it was SCARY. I think I'm prematurely becoming a recluse? eh. whatever. XD I just like to be alone with no people other than my family. "Sloth/Deer/ Mercat. What a frightening creature I've created..." < OMG LAUGHING SO HARD AT THIS. the best... xD

"(Is it just me or do gray shirts seem to feel softer than regular ones?)" < THEY DO. I usually gravitate to all the gray clothes because they just look so comfy and soft!! I'm wearing heather gray leggings and a gray workout tank and a gray short sleeved hoodie over that and basically IT'S COMFORTABLE OKAY. x) #truth

This tag was fabulous!! I had fun reading your answers. :)
    love,
