Summer Evenings

I've never been particularly fond of summer. I've always preferred the cool breeze of autumn and the icy chill of winter. Hot weather really isn't my thing. But there is something about summer that I truly love : summer evenings. It's the time of day when everyone is home, safe n' sound. A time when the air gets a little cooler and begins to lets go of its thickness. And the sun drifts to ground, making everything golden. It's the time of day when God creates to perfect lighting to capture memories with. Here are a few photos I took of one recent summer evening. <3

  1. Summer isn't entirely my thing, either-- fall and winter nights are my thing because even though it's dark, there's a sense I'm with friends who I consider family just singing away. Your photos are always so vibrant, Eve; never change <3

  2. I'm not a summer person, I prefer the in between seasons of autumn and spring. In Australia it's the last month of winter and today was the first day were it has felt warm. It has made me excited for spring's arrival.
I love your photos. The one with baseball(?) bats is so cute. You've inspired me to get out my camera.

  5. I love summer! Maybe not the weather, fall weather is my favorite, so full of promise, but summer smells like memories waiting to be made and possibilities unlimited!

The way you described summer evening, though, blew me away, because I feel the same way! Charming pictures!
