I'm Back!

Hello again! I can't believe it has been almost a month since my last post. Sorry 'bout that guys. I know I'm always using business as an excuse for not blogging, but this month (or should I say this whole summer break) has been extremely busy. I went to the beach, did photos for a family, visited my relatives from several states away, spent a week at church camp, etc.

Even though life has been busy, it has also been a lot of fun! I've taken loads and loads of photos to document my vacation and even some video footage I managed to record there. I'll try to post them in a week or so from now. I'll probably separate them up into two posts so you don't have to go through the pain of waiting and waiting for fifty-something pictures to load. ;)

After many eventful weeks, I'm finally home and little exhausted. I've also managed to catch some sort of virus and have been struggling through it all week. I've been spending my days re-watching the Harry Potter movies (they are AMAZING by the way), blowing my nose until it's completely sore, and sleeping through the rest of the day.

I know this post is full of inconsistent ramblings, but I thought you all might like to know that I'm, you know, alive and well (though I don't feel very well right now, but that's beside the point). ;) I've missed the blogging world and all of you awesome people. Since I've been gone for a long while I haven't had much time to read many posts from you guys. If you have any posts you've written recently, I'd looovvvee to read them. Just leave your post's link in a comment below.

See you all later. Thanks for reading!

p.s.
I hope you all have had a great 4th of July! My family and I had a little party in our backyard with our church friends. We had popcorn, popsicles, and soda as we watched the gorgeous fireworks. So if you're wondering where in the world those random pictures came from in this post, you now know the explanation. Sorry if the pictures are a bit grainy and blurry. I'm not used to taking photos in such low lighting.

  5. Sounds like a fun 4th of July celebration!
I am currently watching the Harry Potter movies for the first time, and I must say (except for 4) they are REALLY good. I especially liked the third and the first.

    1. Aw, thanks, Racic! I simply adjusted the shutter speed and aperture manually and didn't use the flash. Other than that I'm not sure of the exact settings I chose because I just sort of adjusted the settings when the fireworks show started. :)

  16. HOORAY!!! I was actually just going through my feed the other day and wondering if there was some sort of glitch that was making it miss your posts, but now i see you were just out living life. and that's a wonderful, wonderful thing. i accidentally took about two weeks off blogging so i know that coming back can be a chore in itself. but i wish you all the best in getting better and getting back into the swing of things. Lovely, lovely images as always, the grain adds depth and makes them look like film shots. i thought they WERE film at first and was looking for details like what kind you used until you said it was just low light. and i was STUNNED! i thought you did it on purpose, very tumblr and pinterest worthy!
keep up the great work (and here's my summer post)
