Finally Spring

Today I took some photos of some flowers(that have just bloomed) and a photo of the sky to capture the sunny day we had.
Finally it is starting to feel more like spring than winter. I love how everything seems so much more alive in the springtime.

Some flowers that just bloomed today in my sister's garden

     The sunshine!

P.S.
I finally learned how to make a slideshow header! I have been wanting to learn how for ages, but I always thought it was too hard.
It turned out to be pretty easy, (which surprised me) and if you want, I could maybe try one on your blog. You can just click on the Designs page tab and email me what you would like for your design and such. :)
Thanks for reading my post!

Designs

Okay so you might have noticed that my blog is looking different than before.
My awesome blog friend Melody, is designing for me! She is doing such an amazing job! Thank you Melody! Want a free design from her? Here is her design blog: Mellow Designs
Speaking of designs, I have made a design blog.
I do totally free blog designs, and I would really enjoy doing yours! If you get a blog design from me, your not only getting a nice blog design, but your also helping me learn new technics, and helping me to know if I want to make it a career (graphic designing) one day. :)

3 Awesome Photo Editing Websites

So this evening, I've decided to share some lovely photo editing sites that I have used and are free! :D
These are all awesome sites that I have found this year and really make my photos look a lot more professional without having an expensive camera. The picture below is unedited, and I will be using it to show you the effects of each photo editing sites.

This site has a lot of effects and really makes your photos pop! They even have a setting where you can make your photos look like a drawing or painting.  Probably the first one of the three photos is my favorite. I love how it makes the color of my sister's bow and the flowers on her shirt bright and everything else looks faded.

2. BeFunky
I love how this photo editing site can make photos look old fashion. It has a ton of effects, but I normally just like using the old photo effect. You can even add scratches and such to make it look even more old.

This site is so awesome! There are so many amazing effects on here.  To me this one is most natural out of the three sites. The effects just make a photo look like you took a really good picture. You can also make a header on this site (I might do a post on that later if you want me too).

So there you have it! Three amazing photo editing website that you can try out! Any thoughts? If you want, you can comment on which effect is your favorite.

I took some photos today, and I thought I would show you all. :) I haven't seen many flowers yet this spring, but at least all the plants and such are looking less, well dead looking. I've managed to find some flowers/weeds that I thought I would show you as well as some other things I found. Enjoy!

Here's a little random, dancing leprechaun! ;)

 Who was Saint Patrick?
No he was not a little leprechaun with a long red beard, he was just a normal guy. His father was a deacon yet St. Patrick was never very interested in religion, until it seems his world turned upside down. When St. Patrick was 16, he was kidnapped and enslaved by Irish pirates. Through all the pain and suffering he began to pray to God and became closer to him.  Later he had a vision of the children of Ireland reaching out their hands to him. He knew that God was calling him to help the Irish people. After six years of slavery in Ireland, he was finally able to escape. He later returned to Ireland and was a missionary there.

Why are shamrocks such a big deal on St. Patrick's Day?
It is said that St. Patrick used three-leaved clovers as an symbol to the people in Ireland. It showed that God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit were three of one.

P.S. A "leprechaun" visited us this morning. He left a trail of skittles for my little sisters to follow.
They absolutely loved it! Here are some pictures of our little adventure this St. Patrick's Day. :)

A letter from the "leprechaun". ;)

It looks like he got into some mischief!
