Hello, my friends! I did a portrait session with such a sweet family last weekend. Their baby was absolutely adorable and they were all so much fun to photograph! I loved photographing the emotion between the three.
You want to know the funny thing about this photo session?....it almost didn't happen.
It started pouring down rain when my mom and I got in the car to drive to the location. At first when the rain started to pour I was like, "Really, God? Really?" I had been working so hard and preparing so much for this photo session because I wanted to do my very best at it (perfectionist alert;)).
But then I came to the realization that God has it all figured out, so why should I worry? He has a plan and purpose for every situation, so I just gave all the nervousness, anxiousness bottled up inside to Him and trusted Him with it all. I accepted the fact that it might indeed keep on raining, and that I might have to cancel, but it would be okay. I could always reschedule.
Once I accepted that, the rain began lessen and lessen as we drove to the location. When we arrived, the ground wasn't even wet and the lighting was perfect. I was just like,"Whoa, God. Whoa! Thank you!" I was so amazed and so very thankful. <3 Hope you enjoy!
The baby pictures are my absolute favoritest!!! You definitely lucked out with that lighting... Gorgeous! I love how God shows up in the little things every day <3
