Spring is Here

Spring has finally arrived.
yesterday it was gorgeous outside.
we couldn't  help but go outdoors and enjoy every minute of it.

we drew magnificent creations (as in a lopsided heart and a bunny rabbit that resembled a cat) with chalk that was shaped like Easter eggs.

the youngest decided to make "playing with chalk" an educational experience. She wrote down different math problems (like 1+2=3). then she decided to kick it up a notch and tried to add 4+3. with her, counting on her fingers and a little help from her big sister, she was able to solve the problem in no time.
p.s. it's 7.

then came rollerskating, tree-house-climbing, swinging, jumping,

and lots and lots of bubble blowing as we welcomed in this new beautiful season. <3

Has spring made its appearance to you yet?

  5. Spring is here! Lovely photographs! :) The chalk looks amazing. By the way do you have any sort of suggestions as to where to do a spring photoshoot? I promised my friend that I would do one with her for her project and we don't know what sort of places in town to go to (there are parks and trails but there are stil reminiscence of snow lurking around)...

    xoxo Morning

    1. Awesome! Thank you. <3
Hm, a park sounds nice. Sometimes it can be fun to take pictures in a downtown area too. It can give photos a homey natural feel. If you want your photos to feel more "springy" always be on the look out for a green background as in grass, trees, that sorta thing. It makes photos a little more vibrant. Oh and just another quick tip (sorry, I know I rambling on and on) the absolute perfect time to take photos is in the late afternoon/early evening. For some reason the sun is perfect at that time for pictures. :)

  12. IKR? Spring is so beautiful, and the past few days it has been drop down gorgeous. The snow is melting and forming these little rivers in our backyards, creating whirlpools and flooding the larger rivers. It's beautiful. Especially the beautiful sun <3 The quality of these pictures are ammmaaaazing, Eve ♥ Like everything about them screams professional.

    1. It really has! Same here, and it rained a lot today so my backyard looks like a little lake. Oh my, the sun was beautiful! It felt so nice to finally feel its warmth once again. Thank you so much, Autumn. That means sooo very much to me. <3 <3 <3 Your comment made my day!

  13. Aw, the counting of the fingers! This is exactly what all my siblings do.
Minus the bubbles. Our bubbles never stay un-spilt for long. :) You've got some cutie pies in your family!

    1. Haha! Same with our family. That's the only case of bubbles we have left. All the others have either been spilled or left out in the backyard all winter and have strangely disappeared. Let's just see how long those bubbles last. ;) Thanks, Bethany! <3
