Hmm.. I'm not really certain. I'm not short though but I wouldn't say I'm extremely tall either.

Question 2: Do you have a hidden talent? If so, what?
I've always been extremely flexible. When I was younger a doctor said that I had something that made me more flexible and my bones could break easier because of it. I know, weird fact. :)

Question 3: What’s your biggest blog-related pet peeve?
Uh, let's see. I don't really like it when the content is a bright color other than black, gray, or brown. For me it's too distracting. I also don't like when my photo in my post don't show up but it really can't be helped. :P

Question 4: What’s your biggest non-blog related pet peeve?
When people interrupt me when I'm talking.

Question 5: What’s your favorite song?

We have four cats. Divinity, Snickerdoodle, Banilla, and Chip. We also have a pet fish named Sally.

When I was at church camp and we were helping out a mission. We had to wear hair nets since it required food. We wore them for quite a while and I didn't even notice mine was on. Everyone else took theirs off when we were done but I wad totally oblivious to the fact of the hair net that was still on my head. Someone actually had to tell me that I still had it on. Whoops...;)

Question 13: If you could only drink one beverage (besides water) for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Sparking grape juice! I would probably get tired of it after a while though.

Question 14: What’s your favorite movie?
Little Women and The Help.

Question 15: What were you in high school: prom queen, nerd, cheerleader, jock, valedictorian, band geek, loner, artist, prep?
Well, I'm homschooled, but I would probably pick artist. Not that I'm an insanely good artist but I do enjoy doing it.

Question 16: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?
I've always wanted to go to Ireland. My ancestors were from there and I think it would be a beautiful place to see.

I've only tried PC but would love to try Mac (although it normally has a major price tag).

Question 18: Last romantic gesture from a crush, date, boy/girlfriend, spouse?
I don't have a crush, date, boyfriend, or spouse. So no answer for this one. ;)

Question 20: What blogger do you secretly want be best friends with?
Only one???!! Well, I think I'll go with Maiya. I've known her from the start of my blogging experience. I believe we could be great friends and actually are but we only talk online.

I suppose that somewhere in an enchanted land where unicorns create what are now known to us as "Jolly Ranchers", were all quite happy(as unicorns always are) and just happened to be talented ranchers. Morning's Blog Party
The Ups and Downs of My Not-So-Average Life
I'm doing Morning's some questions from her blog party! Click here to go to her blog and click her to go to the official post so you can do it as well.

1. What do you love about the fall season?
I love the colorful leaves, the fragrance of cookies just out of the oven, sweaters, mittens, boots, cool weather, pumpkins, food, and so much more!

2. If you walked in a mall and saw a guacamole chip hat, would you wear one or eat it?
Eat it!

3. What is one of the most frustrating or aggravating things in the blogging world?
When I post something and a week or so later I notice a typo. I'm a perfectionist so it's always very aggravating. Also when I can't follow someone's blog (when it says there's an error of some sort) but I've found out a way where a can follow someone without clicking on the join site button.

4. Would you rather build a snowman or sing in the rain? (See what I did there?)
I've built a snowman many times but singing in the rain is new. So yes, singing in the rain.
I'm singin' in the rain, I'm singin' in the rain!

5. If you had to chose how you were a part of a theater or movie production, would you be: an actor, props designer, set designer, light/technical director, audio coordinator, costume director, music director, dance coordinator, stage manager, or a part of the audience?
Actress. :)

6. List your blogging inspirations (blogs and people).

7. Do you think you could commit yourself to a Halloween costume made of lint, or a Halloween costume made of bubble wrap?
Bubble wrap would be fun but I would probably have to wear something under it(obviously).

8. Do you tend to photo bomb people's photos, or divert from them?
If I do photo bomb then it's normally accidental. Usually I make the weirdest expression when I'm in the background of a picture. I don't know why, but I guess that the people will have a hilariously random photo to look back on.;)

9. What is one word you constantly have to keep looking up the definition to?
Brusque.

10. If you wrote an autobiography about yourself, what would you call it (if you couldn't place your name in the title) and why?
Probably something cheesy like "The Life of a Young Girl Who Overcame Her Dislike of Math.  Haha! ;)

8.Whats the craziest dream you've ever had?
I'm known to have extremely crazy dreams so let me have a little time to think.
*thinks back to all the dreams I can remember*
Okay, so I was at this church camp and it was sorta dark all the time there. I was just sitting on my bed in a cabin type dorm thing and I hear screaming. I was so shocked. This red headed guy who was my best friend in the dream told me that everyone was supposed to go to the main area of the camp. So we ran there and it was like a giant while building, like something you would see in DC.
Everyone was in there and a person yelled, "Everyone keep calm. There are gummy people on the loose! It's because they had Obama care. Don't let them catch you or you'll turn into one too!" So, what do people do when gummy people are on the loos? Obviously they run frantically in every direction. So there I am running about, and I see all these colorful gummy people running after everyone else. They looked like gummy bears but shaped like a person. I know, weird! Suddenly a thought came to mind. "All they need is love." I said to myself and I ran up to one of them and gave them a hug. Do you know what happened? The gummy person turned into a real one. So then everyone started hugging the gummy people and we were all real again!
 The End.

I tag:
Anyone and everyone!

~Bad days are like storms. You can either dwell in the rain or look forward to the rainbow.~
“The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.”
— The Doctor, Season 5, Episode 10

September Evening at the Park

Yesterday evening we went to the park. It was one of those perfect fall days. The wind was chilly yet the sun's warmth shone down on us.

We got to feed some ducks and a goose (as seen in the photo). They came right up to my little sister and kept on quaking and quaking as if they were having a temper tantrum for the bread.

We went to this little garden. I like to think of it as The Secret Garden. :)

My poor worn-out moccasins. I've had them for years and now they're practically falling apart but they've always been my favorite shoes. :)

I also took some pictures near the train tracks. Don't worry, there was no train in sight. :)

Everything was so colorful! It was simply gorgeous to see the red trees reflect off the water.

I've been reading Homecoming by Cynthia Voigt. I'm really liking it so far. I brought it along so I could read at the park.

Our trip the park sadly came to an end. We had to say farewell to the perfect autumn day.
Do you ever just marvel at God's creations?
When I watched the sun go slowly down behind the trees, it made me wonder how He made each season so unique and beautiful. On days like that, we need to thank God for the beautiful days he gives us and still praise him on the bad ones.

Chocolate Book Tag

Hi everyone! I found this amazing tag over at Erin's lovely blog. It combines some of my favorite things in life. Reading and chocolate!!!

1. Dark Chocolate (A book that covers a dark topic)
A Child Called "It" by Dave Pelzer. The author tells his story about his abusive mother and all the struggles he went through in his boyhood. It's a story of a boy who felt worthless, and unloved. It may not sound that great but it's a very interesting read. You get to see what life is sometimes like for an abused child. Once I started reading it, it was like I was living his life. I felt as if I was going through his horrific struggles, and feeling the ways he had felt. This was unlike any book I've ever read. There were no fairy unicorns to save the day, only cold harsh reality. It was extremely sad and a very dark topic to read about. Nonetheless it is a topic that we all need to know about and be aware of children still suffering from abuse.

2. White Chocolate (Favorite light-hearted/humorous read)
The Casson Family series by Hilary Mckay. I know it's more than one book but I couldn't pick only one. It's about an artistic family in England and their funny, quirky life. Each book is based on the point of view of one of the Casson children. I loved it!

3. Milk Chocolate (A book with a lot of hype that you're dying to read)
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. It's no like I'm dying to read it though. I'm just curious on why so many people like it. I must find out!! ;)
2767052
{goodreads}

4. Caramel-filled Chocolate (A book that makes you feel all gooey inside)
To tell you the truth, I don't really like a lot of lovey-doveyness (that's a word I just created) in the books I read. Divergent (by Veronica Roth) had some romance in it but it wasn't totally based on that. I read Lydia's Dream... it's an Amish romance novel. I did not like it!! It was so depressing!!!! If you know me pretty well, you know that I don't like to stop reading books before I'm done with them. The whole story was a bit much. I think Lydia had to choose between a widower with rowdy sons or a man whose whole family had dwarfism. The author also changed a little boy's eye color. She described the child's eyes as blue and then as brown... I guess she may have forgotten which color it was...O_o

5. Wafer-less KitKat (A book that has surprised you)
Someone Named Eva by Joan M. Wolf and Feathers by Jacqueline Woodson. I found them on sale, and I only got them because they were so cheap. They turned out to be incredible books! It was definitely surprised!
{goodreads}

6. Snickers (A book you're going nuts about)
Legend (by Marie Lu)!  I love it! Let me tell you, I had my doubt about this book, but I fell in love with it!!!
9275658
{goodreads}

7. Hot Chocolate With Mini Marshmallows (A book you turn to for a comfort read)
Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery. :) Amazing! It's always my go-to read.
Anne of Green Gables
{goodreads}

8. Box of Chocolates (A series you feel has something for everyone)
The Harry Potter series!!! It has adventure, mystery, romance, betrayal, friendship, sacrifice, and the list goes on and on. ;) It's just an amazing series that I'll never get tired of.

So that's the tag! I hope you had fun reading it!
I know I definitely enjoyed answering the questions. :)

I tag:
and...
anyone you says, "I'm a bookworm!" in a comment below. It doesn't matter if your the first one or not. Everyone is welcomed to do it!

Cloudy Autumn Day

I took another walk on a path and on a road (there's a lot of road construction so it wasn't busy). It was a perfect cloudy autumn day. :)

How I love sweaters!

I've finished Ledgend and am continuing on with the series. Currently I'm reading Prodigy and I'm loving it!!

Photo-shoot | Blog Shop News

My little sis really wanted me to do a photo-shoot with her. Last week I decided to get out my camera and take some pics of her. She chose her hairstyle, attire, and props. She had so much fun! Since she's so photogenic, it was very easy to get good photos of her. Here are a few photos I took.

Also you may notice that my design site is currently private and does not show up when you click on it. This is because I am perfecting it for the grand opening (which I'll tell you when it happens). I'm extremely excited to introduce my new site's layout and store. I'm going to be making premade templates as well for people to buy. As I'm working on this, I will also start finishing up all my design orders. If you have ordered one from me I sincerely apologize for the wait. I will finish it soon! I hope you all have a lovely week! :)

Tour Through Blogland/Tributes to Writers Tag

I was tagged in the Tour Through Blogland tag. I was tagged by my lovely blog friend Katrina. If you are tagged answer the questions I answered.

What am I working on?
I've been working on so many blog designs. Currently I have 12 or so to do. Even though I know that most people would find that hectic, I really enjoy helping people out with their designs. I've also been working on my design shop. Since my designs will no longer be free I must figure out a way to let people pay for them. I've been looking all over for a way to make a little shop on my site but it's harder than it seems. I've also been taking pics of my little sis which I will post right after this. :)

How does my work differ from others from its genre?
I think my blog has a lot of options for people. I share do-it-yourself projects, recipes, photography, and blog design tips. Sometimes I show a glimpse of my life and share my writing pieces. I'm not one of those people who pretends to be perfect so I try to tell my readers about the good and not so good days in my life.

Why do I write/create what I do?
I write and create what I do because I simply love to do it. I love sharing easy diy ideas, and bits and pieces of my life. I'm so glad I'm apart of this blogger community where I know I have so many internet friends that got my back. It's great to know that i have so many friends from all over the world. I wish that someday, all the teen Christian bloggers could meet. Now that would be epic!

How does your writing/creating process work?
Well first of all, I try to think of something original for a post. I don't want to copy what other bloggers have done. I rather think up my own unique idea. If I ever have writers block I simply do a life update or maybe share a poem.

You're supposed to nominate three bloggers, so here I go.:)

I nominate:
Sarah Grace- Her blog is full of lovely photography and writing pieces. It's always a joy to see a new post from her. :)

Bethan-Her blog is just so awesome. She loves to read (like me), and she has such a beautiful writing style.

Danielle-Her blog is amazing. :)  I love her post and her giveaways! I'm in awe of her amazing photography!

1. Answer All Questions
2. Put the picture in your post (has to be linked back to Jollygirl)
3. Tell what you love about writing (if you like writing. if you don't, then you don't have to do this award)
4. Share one piece of writing.
4. Nominate 3 other writers/ bloggers. (no tag backs) and make up 5 new questions for them to answer.
5. Have fun!

Questions:

1. What is your favorite type of writing?
I really love poetry. To me, they're so beautiful. I like how everyone seems to find a different meaning of what a poem means.

2. When did you start writing?
I've always loved to write. When I was around 10 I started writing songs about Jesus's love and nature. Then I started writing poems. I never really thought I had a talent for writing until I entered my poem in 4-H and won grand champion. Not that I think I'm a great writer now but I just never knew people would even like what I wrote.

3. Your favorite author?
Oh goodness! Hmmm... Let's see.
Lois Lowry.

4. Have you ever finished a novel?
I've started many novels about futuristic alternate societies, but I've never finished them. Maybe I could share them with you all sometime if you like. I am currently writing a short story for school. It's going to be based in World War II and I've thought of a really cool storyline to go along with it.

5. On a scale of one to ten what would you rate writing?
10!!!

Why I like writing:
I like writing because I can express my thoughts, hopes, and even fears in ways speaking can not. I think writing is a way for people like me, to show who they are and who they hope to become.

A piece of my writing:
Why Rush
To tell you the truth,
I'm not in a rush to grow up.
Some girls
are in such a hurry to
to be independent
and go out in the world alone.
But as for me...
I'm not in a rush.
I want to savor each moment of my childhood
and my teen hood.
I'm not the kind of girl who is anticipating her future,
or living in her past.
I just want to be me.
Right here.
Right now.
Because I can't go back in time,
or speed up the clock.
I want to just live,
and be thankful for every moment.
I have my whole life ahead of me.
Why rush?

I tag:
Anna-She definitely has a knack for writing and it shows through her blog (Banana and Bear).

Celia-Her blog (Crazy,Crazy,Crazy) is full of lovely poems and stories. They're absolutely beautiful!

Brittany-I love to read her stories. Her writing is amazing. She is such a talented young lady. (Daughter of the King)

Big News

So I have some super duper big news!!!!
Starting  on September 14, 2014, I will be charging for my blog designs. If you have already asked for a design then don't worry. I'm not going to charge anyone who has already ordered a design. I will finish all the blogs on my waiting list. It's sorta a bitter sweet moment for me. Although I extremely enjoyed doing it for free, I know now that I have to move on to the next chapter in my designing career.

A Summer's Farewell

~Summer will be gone before we know it~
~Autumn will soon take its place~

Yesterday, I took a walk on a little path out in a field. It was a little cloudy out, yet the sun would peek through the clouds occasionally. Everything looked especially green as I walked on the path. The blank sky seemed to make the grass and trees more vibrant. It was as if summer was saying its last farewell to me. It was showing its true beauty before it faded away. There was a cool breeze that made the weeds back and forth, at such a gentle, steady pace. I thought I would share some photos I took, as well as a small video to truly capture it.

^Green, green, green!^

^Autumn is beginning to show.^

^There's something so dainty about the picture above. The flowers look so elegant and fragile.^

^I loved the yellow in this pic.^

^To me, this truly captures how the summertime is slowly transitioning into autumn.^

Recently... 01

I had no idea what to post, so I decided to do a "Recently post" for you all. :) Enjoy!
P.S. I changed my design if you haven't noticed. I wanted to make it a little calmer than the last one for when winter comes. I even made my own clip art for it. What do you think?
Recently I've been,
reading...Legend by Marie Lu.
listening...to Jamie Grace.
watching...Downton Abbey.
eating... cookie dough bites.
remembering...the good old days.
awaiting...my birthday!!!
learning...new codes.
praying...that today will be another beautiful day.
loving...these blogs! Like Introducing InspirationWhateves, Beloved Bluebirds, Clover and Dot.
doing...ten blog designs...at once!
writing...this post. XD
anticipating...when I go to the musical, Oklahoma!
wondering...when autumn will come.

A Day in My Life

So Melody asked me a few months ago if I could do a post on what a normal school day is like for me. I haven't been posting anything personal on here lately and wanted to give you a sneak peek into my life. :)
So I have some pics to go with the things I do but some are just in text. I tried to take a picture of me doing my chores and it was disastrous. Can you imagine taking a picture of yourself why'll cleaning with both your hands? Yeah, it's close to impossible. So, without further adieu I present my life as a homeschooled teen. :)

The first thing I do in the morning is read my bible. I can be very forgetful sometimes and that's something I try to make a priority.

After that normally I read a little. It helps me become a little more awake. I'm currently reading Allegiant by Veronica Roth.

Then I go and have some breakfast!

After I get ready, I like to start off  the day with Spanish and graphic design. I'm slowly but surely learning Spanish although it is very difficult to learn all the rules that comes with a foreign language. My graphic design lessons consist of designing blogs and creating and learning new codes. I enjoy it so much! After that I start doing research for a project I do every two weeks. Then I must present it to my family. For instance I'm doing a biography on Annie Oakley, which goes with what we are currently studying. I was going to do a paper about Narcissa Whitman, but it was just too tragical! (Oh Anne Shirley, thank you for your imaginative words!)

I normally do my chores after that.

Then I do chemistry with my mom and sister. We sort of alternate on each day between math and chemistry.

After that it's lunch time! Whoop, whoop!

In the afternoon we do our literature and work on SAT practice sheets.

When I have free time, I love to read or just design blogs for others. I don't know why but I just love coding and such. :) I also enjoy editing photos. This is one I took and editing a few days ago.

After a while it's suppertime!

I hope you enjoyed this post! Do you have any other post ideas I should do? :)
