Holiday Nail Ideas

Hi! Merry Christmas Eve Eve! So today I thought I would share some holiday name designs. :) If you have any questions about them or want to tell me what you think, then just comment below.

1. It has a red base nail polish with a green stripe in the middle and little stripes surrounding it.
2. Sorry, it's a little messy but I think you get the idea. It kind of has a candy cane feel to it. All you really have to do is just do white and red stripes on your nails.
3. This one has a gold accent nail and all the rest are red. I love how it has a classy holiday feel to it.
4. It the next one it is a pattern of red and green. This one is super easy.

Eve of Womanhood

Hey everyone! Let's talk about Christmas! Christmas is not that far off now. Christmas isn't about the gifts under the tree or the holiday shopping deals. It's not about the food or the decorations. Sometimes I think we forget about what the true purpose of Christmas is all about. The true meaning of Christmas is Jesus. On Christmas we celebrate the birth of our Savior. God could of chose His son to be born as a prince, and He could of been born in palace and never would want for anything. But it didn't happen that way. In fact it was quite the opposite. God, out of all the people in the world, chose a young virgin girl named Mary, to bear his son. She wasn't rich or famous, she was just a normal girl who was willing to trust in God no matter what he asked of her. She was willing for people to look down on her because she was a unmarried girl who was with child. Jesus wasn't born in a palace. He was born in a barn with only a manger for a bed. He was born in a world of hate, sadness, sickness, and anger. He was born to die for us so that we could be free from our sin. He died for us even though we did not deserve us. He gives us hope even when it seems like we've come to a dead end. He loves us even when we don't love him back. That is what Christmas is all about. Sometimes life seems to be such a rush, but we need to just slow down and celebrate the birthday of our Savior. If you would like to read the story of Christmas, your welcomed to read this below. :)
Luke 2:1-19
And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be taxed.
(And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.)
And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.
And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)
To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.
And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.
And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
15 And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.
16 And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger.
17 And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child.
18 And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds.
19 But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.
